In 1959, the University of Missouri-Columbia opened the A.L. Gustin, Jr. Golf Course. The golf course was designed by Floyd Farley.
This course was built on extremely hilly terrain, so expect uneven lies. The greens are large and easy to read. A lake comes into play on hole #5, a 215-yard, par 3. In addition, lateral hazards defined by red stakes come into play on eight holes and out-of-bounds stakes line five holes.

Course conditions for the fairways were dry and due to the hilly nature of the layout, it made for the ball rolling a good ways to low spots on the course. Increases the challenge level as the lies are generally still playable
